Tonight I was at the movie theater and as I was…standing there in the lobby, I decided to try an experiment. I began to pick up pieces of trash and stuff left on the ground.  First it was one, then two then three and four.  I found myself feeling good about myself and my contribution to making it a better environment for us all to enjoy.  I know pretty simple huh?

Everyone is always talking about how we dwell on the negative from our past, the comments made, the strange looks we encounter and such and yet not too many things shared abut how to overcome some of the negative that we encounter.  Well I think there are so many opportunities to make ourselves feel better about ourselves (whereby raising our self esteem and increasing our performance) that we simply do nt take advantage of.  This was one.

Today, look for opportunities to reinforce your positive attributes.  Look for opportunities to give yourself something to feel good about and you will soon be thinking, feeling and performing better and better!
